Battery Ball Machine Troubleshooting & Replacement Parts Instructions

I need to replace my battery.

My new battery won't recharge.

If a new machine has trouble charging the battery, remove the control panel and confirm the battery leads are fully inserted into the battery terminals.  If the battery works for 10-15 minutes, then shuts down, buy and install a new battery.

The feed motor isn't working correctly.

    • Feed Motor - Check for a jam underneath the black feed wheel.  If there is no ball jam, unscrew the control panel and check the feed motor wire is fully inserted into the green PCB board.

I have 3 or 4 flashing lights on my EL01-3 control panel

I want to read how to troubleshoot 3 or 4 flashing lights.

My remote control won't work.

    • If the remote doesn't work at all, but worked previously, replace the battery inside the clicker.  If the remote works only from a short distance, ask Customer Service for a ferrite adaptor.  If none of this works, unscrew the control panel and verify the remote wire is fully inserted in the PCB board and the antenna wire from the receiver box hangs down.
    • I want to read how to do this in the manual before buying.
    • I need to replace my Remote Control System.

My wheels are worn out.

Transport Wheel - The transport wheels support the ball machine, allowing it to be rolled to another location.

My server wheels are vibrating.

Server Wheels - Replace the server wheels if they vibrate after tightening the setscrew.

My two-line rocker switch won't work.

The elevation isn't working properly.

Elevation Errors - Elevation errors can be caused either by a faulty electronic board or by a faulty elevation motor.

Why does a 2-year warranty matter?

Does the 2 Year Warranty Really Matter?

Why would one company offer a two-year warranty and another company offer a 1 year warranty? Lobster has so much confidence in its products that it can afford to offer a 2 year warranty. Ask yourself why our competition doesn't have equal confidence in the durability of its products.

When comparing purchase prices between machines, you should consider the two year warranty carefully. The cost of ownership will quickly rise if the machine breaks down soon after the warranty expires. Imagine owning a machine for 14 months, it malfunctions and now you are out $50 to ship it to the factory at least $100-$200 to fix it and $50 to ship it home. A $300 repair bill might make you think twice about the true cost of purchasing that 1 year warranty machine.

Finally, consider that Lobster Sports, Inc has been in business for 39 years – that means we were in business for 20 years before our competition even considered opening its doors. Quality isn't some new found commitment, it is part of who we are and have been for generations. When you buy a Lobster ball machine, you purchase peace of mind because you know you have bought a product built for life.
